Over the
many years that I've been involved in the Blues there have
been many things that have fascinated my mind! One of them
has been tryin' to collect vintage posters from a period
before my personal time in the Blues world. Those old
posters from a era gone by are so beautiful and convey a
simple message through their graphics about a
performance of a given time that are part of Blues history.
They still thrill me every time I look at them whether I
found them through another collector or ripped them from a
lamp post during my early travels. Through these next few pages I
will show you some of these vintage posters that I've
collected as well as other forms of related Blues memorabilia
such as publicity promos, hand-bills and posters from
performances that I've attended in the Toronto area.
